Trouble reading this email? click here Dear Members and Supporters,
On World Scout Day, it's my privilege to acknowledge some of our outstanding adult volunteers, whose contribution makes such a positive impact to our Movement and to the communities in which we work and play.
This year, 336 adult members and supporters of Scouts NSW have been honoured in the annual Scouts Australia Adult Recognition Awards.
These awards are a fitting tribute to the incredible service of our Scouting colleagues across our great State. Collectively, they have given thousands of young people the opportunity to build their confidence, discover new talents and develop skills for life.
Of course, all of our members and supporters across Scouts NSW – uniformed and non-uniformed alike – deserve recognition for their commitment to Scouting. They give their time, enthusiasm and energy to our Movement, often inspiring other volunteers to join in on the fun and rewards of Scouting.
In this past year, you have all helped Scouts NSW become more inclusive, more visible and respected across our society.
My sincere thanks and congratulations go to the 2020 Adult Recognition Award recipients. What you contribute to Scouting gives us confidence in the power of the Movement to change lives and make a real difference in our world.
On this special day in our Scouting calendar, I also thank all our volunteers and supporters, their families and their friends who have supported our Awardees and help Scouting remain strong. Your commitment and tireless dedication means that Scouting has a bright future.
With best wishes,
Yours in Scouting, Neville Tomkins OAM JP Chief Commissioner Scouts Australia (NSW Branch) 2020 Adult Recognition Awards To view the full list of Adult Members who received Adult Recognition Awards, please click here.
